SERVICES
EMBROIDERY
Embroidery stands as one of the most durable decoration methods, albeit at a higher cost. We provide embroidery services directly onto garments, products, or patches.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Embroidery is the decoration of cloth or clothing using stitches by stitching directly onto material creating a picture or pattern. Modern embroidery utilises high-speed programmable machines, ensuring a high-quality, hard-wearing finish.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
Embroidery is well-suited for smaller logos and artwork, although we have the capability to produce larger designs as well. For your artwork to be embroidered, it must undergo digitization, potentially requiring simplification for optimal results.
Pricing for embroidery is determined by stitch count, meaning larger designs incur higher production costs. Due to multiple variables that affect cost we are unable to provide a general price list. However, we are always happy to provide an obligation free quote.
With over 150+ thread colours, we will endeavour to do our best to match any pre-existing colours in your design and have samples of thread colours in-store for your reference.
For most garments, we can produce quantities as low as one, although minimum quantities may differ for items like patches and headwear.
We require a high quality digital copy of your artwork however if you are unable to provide this we do offer a redraw service.
Most embroidery requires a backing material, which may not be suitable for lightweight garments or materials due to the added weight.
HOW TO CARE FOR EMBROIDERY
Embroidery often surpasses the lifespan of a garment. It's crucial to adhere to the manufacturer's washing instructions while also following these additional guidelines.
We recommend that garments are washed inside out, if possible, on a cold wash cycle using a mild detergent, and then hung out to dry. We suggest washing with items of similar colours.
Avoid ironing directly over embroidery; use a separate cloth on the reverse side when ironing.
We also recommend that you don’t soak the embroidery in harsh chemicals like napisan or bleach, but rather to spot treat any stains before washing.
For promotional products, we advise against machine washing. Instead, use a damp cloth to remove any dirt or grime, and if necessary, follow up with a mild detergent on a damp cloth to lift any staining. Fully submerging the embroidery may risk fading, bleeding, or discoloration of the thread.
